Description
This is a two-day conference that culminates IASCD's work this year around differentiation of instruction to meet the needs of student subgroups--specifically underachievement.
Day 1: Series of three, two-hour breakout sessions by six Iowa practitioners sharing data and their successes with subgroups of underachievers.
Day 2: "Underachievement Syndrome"--a featured presentation by Dr. Sylvia Rimm, psychologist and author who directs the Family Achievement Clinic, Cleveland, Ohio, and is clinical professor at Case Western Reserve University School of Medicine.
